No More Steam

It isn't by choice that this decision was made, but the limitations set out by the system. Unfortunately almost 30,000 subscribers to Hunting in Skyrim on Steam (across normal and no perks versions) aren't going to see the long awaited 1.3.6 update.

There is a filesize limit of 100mb for all uploads to Steam Workshop for Skyrim, and now that my mod is growing (as it always has been) it has surpassed that limit. The latest BSA I've created came in at about 120mb in size. Because of that I'm unable to progress further on that hosting service; the mod is only going to keep getting bigger!

Fortunately for those users they don't have to go through hoops in order to switch from Steam Workshop to Nexus, AFK Mods, or TES Alliance. The current 1.3.5 version on Steam is identical across all hosts, so users can simply unsubscribe on Steam, remove the mod, and then download it from elsewhere. Using a trusty mod manager like Nexus Mod Manager, Wrye Bash, or Mod Organizer, they won't be missing out on much by not using the Steam version.

If in the future the limit is increased then Hunting in Skyrim will once again be updated and maintained on the workshop.
