Contracts

Contracts


Contracts are generally fairly simple "Fetch X amount of Y for Z person" quests. Each one is radiant, so the item to get, the amount of item to get, and the NPC to get the item for will always be random. As your Skinning Skill increases you will be offered contracts for higher quality pelts, but only if you're known for quality through your Quality Skinning ability. Contracts are obtained from a Guild Porter on request.

Sometimes small quests to achieve certain things (like killing problematic Rabbits for a farmer) fall into the Contracts category. - Coming Soon

Contracts can fall into 3 different levels.
  • Common
    Require small amount of skins, usually from weaker animals.

  • Standard
    A mixture of strength animals, more skins required than common.

  • Advanced
    Contracts involving hard animals and creatures, sometimes longer quests.

Most of the time certain contracts are only available in a specific Guild Hall, as detailed below. The following is a breakdown of all available contracts. Unless specified, all contracts are radiant and repeatable quests.

Common Contracts
  • Common Contract 1
    Collect a random number of pelts for a Blacksmith in Whiterun.
  • Common Contract 2
    Collect a random number of pelts for a Blacksmith in Falkreath.

  • Common Contract 4
    Collect a random number of pelts for a Blacksmith in Dawnstar.
    Requires the Carcass System to be enabled, and at least 4 Common Contracts completed.

  • Common Contract 5
    Collect a random number of pelts for a Blacksmith in either Shor's Stone, Whiterun, or Riverwood.
    Requires at least 6 Common Contracts completed.

  • Hides Amongst Thieves (not radiant or repeatable)
    ​Collect 10 Elk Hides for the Thieves Guild.
    Requires the player to have completed at least two jobs for the Thieves Guild.
